THANK YOU CLEARCHANNEL for your support of Agent Awareness!
The Agent Awareness fundraising campaign
on behalf of Habitat for Humanity that
started back in 2006 continues. Back then, I
was preparing for my first triathlon. Since
that tumultuous first experience in
Montauk,
I have upgraded my wetsuit and bike and
tackled several other
races. Now I look to
tackle the “3 in 3.”

I will compete in three triathlons over three
weeks this June. My relative experience and
the race challenges have changed, but the
motivating factor for these campaigns has
not. Homelessness continues to plague 25%
of the world’s population. Some 1.5 billion
people live in substandard housing or have
no home at all. Habitat for Humanity
International seeks to eliminate poverty
housing and homelessness from the world.
The International office and its community
affiliates believe decent shelter is a matter of
conscience and action.
Heather and I recently volunteered at a Habitat construction site in Maine through their Greater Portland affiliate.
Unfortunately our single day of physical labor is not nearly enough. While immensely fulfilling on a personal level, this
global problem calls for a global solution. Which means each and every one of us needs to do our part, no matter how
small. Only through this collective effort can we hope to benefit less fortunate people in our local communities and around
the world.

Families are trapped in a daily struggle to survive amid horrible, often inhuman living conditions. The recent sub-prime
mortgage catastrophe has highlighted how quickly this struggle can spin out of control. Your donation can help end this
cycle. Your donation, no matter the amount, helps sustain a mission that has built more than 250,000 houses. That’s up
50,000 since my original 2006 request. Progress is being made dollar by dollar and nail by nail.

Since 1976 Habitat has provided shelter for more than 1,000,000 people in over 3,000 communities worldwide. Keeping in
time with its mantra of sustainability, Habitat is not merely a giveaway program. Your
donation is the backbone to a
program that provides interest free loans to homeowners that, in addition to making monthly mortgage payments, invest
hundreds of hours of their own “sweat equity” labor into building their houses and the houses of others.

Relatively speaking, I only know a handful of people as charitable as you. I ask that you do whatever you can to help
spread the message of the “3 in 3” campaign and Habitat’s mission.

Awareness’s behalf.

If you’re feeling especially motivated, Agent Awareness would love to add you to the list of fundraisers competing on our
behalf. Pick a race, any race. Your training and competition will positively transform your mind and body, while supporting
a great cause. For additional details on how you can participate, please visit
AgentRecruit. Thank you for your time.
