Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses
together in partnership with families in need.

Habitat is not a giveaway program. In addition to a down payment and the
monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own
labor -- sweat equity -- into building their Habitat house and the houses of others.

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds
and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner
(partner) families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit,
financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage
payments are used to build still more Habitat houses.

January 2006, Heather and I happily purchased our first home. It is located 10 minutes away from my office at
the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. We consider this opportunity to own our new home,
overlooking the Lamprey River, an absolute blessing.

25% of the world’s population is not so lucky. Some 1.5 billion people live in substandard housing or have no
home at all. Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit charitable organization, seeks to eliminate poverty
housing and homelessness from the world.

Agent Awareness is going into its third season of raising awareness and funds for Habitat for Humanity
International through competition in triathlons, either individually or as relay teams.  For your part, I ask that
you take time to consider the blessings in your own life and contribute what you can to Habitat’s mission to
help unfortunate people help themselves be it financially or by raising funds as a participant in the Agent
Awareness Team.

Habitat International and its community affiliates believe decent shelter is a matter of conscience and action.

Families are trapped in a daily struggle to survive amid horrible, often inhuman living conditions. Your donation
can help end this struggle. Your donation, no matter the amount, helps sustain a mission that has built more
than 200,000 houses, sheltering more than 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000 communities worldwide.
Habitat is not merely a giveaway program. Your donation is the backbone to a program that provides interest
free loans to homeowners that, in addition to providing monthly mortgage payments, invest hundreds of hours
of their own “sweat equity” labor into building their houses and the houses of others.

All donations are made directly to Habitat for Humanity and are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
Donations (either online or by mail) can be processed

Graciously,

Ed Harvey
